NSTIC will provide researchers and companies access to a common semiconductor manufacturing platform infrastructure including scientists and engineers, cleanroom facilities and industry-ready equipment. This will support companies with their translational research and development, semiconductor prototyping, testing, and small volume manufacturing. NSTIC will also train local R&D talent and provide companies access to intellectual properties (IPs) developed by A*STAR, NTU, NUS and SUTD.

Companies can collaborate with NSTIC to enjoy faster product prototyping and manufacturing scale up. This helps them accelerate the process from market testing to final launch of the products. Companies can also tap on NSTIC’s capabilities for small volume manufacturing, where recipes and process flows developed in NSTIC can be more easily transferred to foundries for mass production.

Ways of working together:

  1. Research collaboration projects – We welcome industry and academia to work with NSTIC, leveraging on its facilities and complementary expertise
  2. Service projects – Industry and academia can access our R&D infra and expertise on a fee-for-service basis from single process run to multiple-step device fabrication
  3. Technology licensing – We hold a list of IPs in semiconductor fabrication, flat optics and silicon photonics ready to be licensed to the industry
